Daniel LaPadula, CPA, CFF

President and CEO

Dan is a certified public accountant, certified financial forensic and a graduate of the University of Miami. He has owned and operated a mid-sized public accounting firm, LaPadula, Carlson & Co., for over 35 years.

During his leadership, the firm has become a specialist in the field of auditing commercial, employee benefit trust funds and other organizations.

Several years ago, Dan recognized the need for securities class action monitoring and claims filing services. Reacting to this need, Dan has put together a team of highly qualified professionals including CPAs, MBAs, analysts and computer technicians to accomplish these goals. The result is Class Action Solutions, Inc.

Sharon Carlson, CPA

Executive Vice President

Sharon is a certified public accountant and a partner in the accounting firm of LaPadula, Carlson & Co., as well as the Executive Vice President and a shareholder of Class Action Solutions, Inc.

In her capacity as the Executive Vice President, Sharon coordinates the execution of the firm wide operating procedures and the communication of the results to our clients.

Sharon has over 25 years of auditing experience and holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Barry University.

Areas of specialization:

  • Design, development and implementation of securities monitoring, notification and claims filing strategies
  • Management, supervision and participation in project teams and communication of analytical results to client managers regarding securities class action activities
  • Expertise in designing, developing and implementing best solutions, in terms of cost and quality in the securities class action activities


Alexis Silcox

Operations Manager and Lead Analyst

Alexis holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science with specialization in International Relations and Global Affairs from Eckerd College.

Alexis has extensive knowledge and experience in the securities industry. She has helped to develop and maintain advanced monitoring and claims filing programs specific to class action activities. Alexis is responsible for maintaining the daily functionality of the firm, as well as client relations and marketing.
